On a compact, uniquely shaped lot, the landscape is organized into a series of distinct outdoor rooms that maximize the available space. Designed for a young family with three boys, generous lawn areas provide space for play, while a restrained plant palette is arranged in bold masses to create structure and cohesion. Seasonal color is introduced through potted plantings that can be refreshed throughout the year. Large French doors connect the interior to the garden, opening onto a pergola-covered outdoor dining area that extends daily living outside. A pool anchors the garden and transforms the small site into a private oasis. The result is an intimate, richly layered landscape that feels expansive despite its modest footprint.
